Welcome to BABEL!!!

Hello and welcome to BABEL!! This site is dedicated to change and understanding. As our world becomes more globalised and our communities become increasingly multicultural and racially mixed, it is my hopes that we can all extend ourselves in understanding and acceptance. Our histories have been full of human rights abuses, heartache and misunderstanding, but, at the same token, we have witnessed some truly great events that have inspired nations. I believe we are all capable of living together in respect, understanding and reduced violence. Our youth are leading the way, and this project will give you an insight into the voice of some of those in Wellington, New Zealand. The experience will prove to be extremely challenging for all those involved, including myself. Hearing the tragic history of the Palestinian people, their continued suffering and looking at similar histories around the world is always difficult, but in facing our biggest fears, our disappointments and those parts we wish to discreetly forget, we can continue with an open heart and honestly move forward in the way of Peace. I hope you will join us and communicate with the artists and the Facilitators of Babel. Then we will see you at the exhibition!!!
